this felt-tip pen works for all currencies which use paper  banknotes but not for plastic-coated banknotes such Australia, Japan or Romania.
This bank note tester pen use the patented iodized ink which let a permanent dark mark on any wooden paper which is used to produce about all counterfeit banknotes but not on the special banknote paper which is flax-cotton paper.
